Lexmark Printer driver ?

I have inherited a X1180 Lexmark 3 in 1 printer, but as I have an Asus Eee PC 1000HE, it has no disc drive. Is there some other way of loading it ? Please tell me there is a "magic" link which will make it work.
Also, I have been sent a download to update my touchpad which is in a zipped file, how do I unzip the file to install the new data?
I would be very grateful for some help on these two issues.
P.s. Not too much "tech speak" if you dont mind lol !
