Paint removal from tarmac
6 Answers
We recently reported a gas leak outside my house. It turned out that there was a cracked mains pipe under the footpath. During their investigations the engineers had to drill about 8 or 10 holes in the pathway, and using yellow paint, identified where they could get their gas readings, what the levels were etc. and where the pipe mending team should dig the path. The leak has been repaired and all is well, but I am left with quite a lot of yellow painted marks on the tarmac pathway outside my house. Is there anyway that these can be removed? If I tried to remove them using turps or similar surely it is likely to damage the tarmacadam etc. Any ideas please?

Perhaps you could apply an ''asphalt restorer'' to cover the marks and improve the appearance of the driveway while you're at it. Scroll down here...
