Depends what you want to do but generally there is always work in London.   You just need to do a little research.

I echo Brinjal's answer, but would like to add that if you don't already live in the capital, please do your research before you arrive.  This is a VERY expensive place to live and you really will need to know you have a job to go to before you get here!
