I've had a death certificate through for the brother of my ex husband's grandfather, he was born on Poplar in 1908 but was taken into an orphanage at 3 years old. He died in Cold Meece in 1975, he was a storekeeper, which I am assuming meant he worked in a factort stores there or something, i know there was a huge munitions base there in WW2 aswell, and he married in Uxbridge in 1934, and i am wondering if he worked at the Woolwich Arsenal beore they built the arsenal at Cold Meece.
