Vakhman Kakabadze a prominent Georgian reporter has fled the country ti Switzerland fearing for his life.
This is because (he claims) he is working on a documentry about the South Ossettian war in which Sakasvilli (the Georgian president) planned acts of genocide according to the documents he has seen.
The arrest and beatings of journalists are now viewed as badges of honour in Georgia, so, should we still seek to be friends with Georgia without demanding reform, should we refuse to consider them as a N.A.T.O partner?
