Am I being paranoid?

Something has been bothering me for a while and i'd like some opinions from the good old (young) Abers.

I've been at my workplace for 1.5 years. I often find that my colleague who has been there the same time as myself is always approached first when extra hours are going. I've subtly made it clear that I'm available but it doesn't seem to have made any difference - what should I do?

Thank you oh wise ones!

JD, since you are not saying anything perhaps your manager thinks you don't need or care for overtime. You should make it known to whomever is in charge or responsible for authorising overtime, that you are very much interested because you need it.
