weired lump

Lol today in the shower I noticed a small lump in my armpit,but its not fixed I can stretch the skin and it will come away will doing that. It kind of looks like a spot but its more like a small squishy ball bearing underneath the skin.is this anything to be worried about,I've read up it could be a sist thing? or am I wrong and its some worse n needs checking?if it helps I'm a 19yr old male...

it could be a blocked sweat gland, but any lump should be checked out by a doctor asap.

Try squeezing it and seeing if a small white head comes to the surface. It could be a subcutaneous cyst. But in any case... it is always best to see your doctor.

i believe its a cyst...i gave it a quick squeeze and a tiny amount of fluid came out,its red and its not painful but i know its there if get what i mean.....i think ill try my mum on the weekend shes a nurse so she might know something.

I there just wanted to say that i have this on a few occassions and it turned out it was the deodrant i was using. Sometimes my lump would be there constantly like for months. I switched to a sensitive deodrant (mitcham) and it has never come back since. I now dont use any normally sprays i use a sensitive roll on. I was told there is an ingredient in MOST deodrants/ sprays that can cause a reaction in some people i cant remember what it was though sorry.
