Daughter's 40th birthday

Any suggestions please for a present for the daughter's 40th birthday which is next month.

She is single, has a good job, and owns her own house.

I'll be giving her some cash as I know she's after a new car, but I want to buy her something to keep as a memento, she still wears the ring her father and I bought for her 18th birthday.

As she's already getting some cash I don't really want to spend more than £200.00..............

Craft... you've had many excellent suggestions, but what about shoes?

Presumably you know her favourite brand and her size in that brand?

A woman can never have too many shoes, and the right pair of shoes can absolutely transform an outfit.

Craft, what about a set of mint coins from this year, to mark her 40th? The Royal Mint do lovely sets, we buy them as new-baby presents but they offer a whole range of coins and sets for 2010 - have a look at www.royalmint.com (I'm assuming you're in the UK but if you're not, your own country might do something similar!).
