flies from drain?

can anyone tell me why tiny soft black flies keep coming through my overflow in the bathroom and sometimes the kitchen? I have blasted the pipes with a sink unblocker and with a very strong bleach type cleanser, but they keep comeing back, they are slow moving and easily squashed but are driving me mad.

Is there a Ubend to unscrew and clean out? Sounds like the flies are breeding in static/stale gunge.

Pour some caustic soda down the plug hole and leave for a while, that`ll do it.
