To complete the puzzle I've put Sicilian for 3dn. Figures from Rome are stopping crime of Mafia origin (8) S?C?L?A? I'd be really grateful if someone could explain to me how this solution is arrived at, if it's correct. Thought the crossword was particularly challenging this week.
