Error Message - What Does That Mean?

My flatmate's laptop has a black screen and the following message

PC1 system error on bus-device-function 0200H and (on anther line) 0600H

Help??!!

When you first turn it on you should see something like press f2 (for example) to enter set-up.

Press the key it tells you to, when you get into the bios look for the option to load default settings, save and exit from the BIOS and try again.

thanks - all seems back to normal now
