AVG problem.

HI, I am trying to renew my AVG licence but when I copy and paste my current licence number onto the form it says its an inactive licence but on AVG it is showing as an active number, can anyone help on this matter.Thanks

Which version of AVG Free do you have? I don't believe that license numbers can transfer from versions i.e. from AVG8 to 9.

If you are having difficulty, just go to AVG's website, downloaded the latest free version (version 9) http://free.avg.com/gb-en/download?prd=afg

Disconnect from the net, uninstall your existing version and install the new one. You will receive a new free license which should be valid until the next version is released.
