Funnily enough, the ankle doesn't hurt at all but just about every other muscle in my leg has suffered some sort of pain or cramp over the last 5 weeks and even now my knee is still quite stiff.
Oh well, that'll teach me to go off taking photos in the snow!!!

lol yeh, ah im sure you'll be right as rain before ya know it. Have u ever heard the saying most accidents happen close to home? its sooo true, i got knocked off my moped down the road from my house in December and then a couple of weeks later i fell off on the ice at the other end of the same road, typical. Ah well, ive learnt from that not too ride on ice, maybe we should just stay inside during the winter???
That saying is very true - hope there was no damage to you from your moped or ice incident!
I did get some nice snowy pictures a few days earlier though: http://www.flickr.com...07590@N06/4254260274/

Wow, that is a really nice photo, i would love to do some photography but struggle to hold a camera straight. lol, there was some damage to my bike in the first incident which i got £450 from the other sides insurance company for, when i fell off the second time i was on the courtesy bike but luckily i didn't damage it much so they didn't notice when they picked it up ;-) Happy days, do you do much photography or is it generally just snow photography?
Good news about the bikes - especially the courtesy one, lol
With photography, if you can't hold the camera straight, you just claim it was intentional and "artistic" :D
If you're bored, feel free to have a look at my other pics on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7607590@N06/
I do mainly landscapes (as snow doesn't happen that often, you gotta get it while you can) but I'm trying to do portraits and have been thrown right in at the deep end as I'm doing my first wedding in August...

They are really good, i love the one titled 'snow man' with the orange against black and white, its really cool, and i also love the time lapse video things (whatever you call them) my sister does them and im always stumped by how it works :-) you are clearly very good at what you do, from what i can see, the wedding photography you do will be amazing if your other work is anything to go by! from this im assuming it is a career for you as well as a hobby?
Thanks!
Here's a quick guide to time lapse (skip if it's boring! haha)
Normal video runs at 25 frames per second (each frame is a still image ie a photo)
If you set the camera to take 1 picture per second, you need 25 seconds in "real time" to take enough photos for 1 second of video.
This then means that anything that takes 25 seconds to happen in real time will only take 1 second in the time lapse video. For example, a cloud taking 25 seconds to cross the sky in real time will take 1 second in the time lapse video.
Clear as mud? :)
It is a hobby but it's becoming a more serious hobby (unfortunately more serious = more £££ too!)
How about you? What are you into if not photography?!

My main interest is cars and bikes, anything that has an engine basically. :-) Im doing a course at college in motor vehicle engineering so hopefully i will become a mechanic when im older, either that or a lorry driver (dont ask why i want to be one, cus i dont know lol). I work in a restaurant at the moment as Kitchen porter/sous chef and alot of people i know started out as KP's and became a chef eventhough they didn't want to so i fear i may end up going the same way. Oh and my other interest which has only been an interest of mine since last year is dogs, eversince my sister got a jack russell pup, ive loved them, so much that i bought one myself which im picking up tommorow.

Hi Society
As I mentioned above, I go through phases of Answerbank-ing! And when I'm not Answerbank-ing it's Facebook-ing :D haha
Hi Invisible
In my head, the cast will come off and I'll be walking just fine but I know it won't be like that for real! It's a pain not even being able to pop down the road to get milk or something simple! This is my first break... and hopefully last! haha
Benny,
Jack Russells are the best dogs - we had one called Nipper who lived until the ripe old doggy age of 14 and was the nicest tempered animal I've ever met. As for cars, my limits are putting petrol, changing headlight bulbs and checking the oil!! lol Lorry driver could be cool - you could get to drive all around Europe! Or at least see the whole of the UK :)

Yeh, i agree, JR's have such a character, alot of people i speak to say that they are little Sh1ts but they really aren't! and i see what ya mean about the lorry driving thing, get to see europe, wow that would be sooo cool! I think the main reason it appeals to me though is the fat that i would have control over such a huge vehicle, with al that power! I apsoloutley love motorways. I love the drama of them :-) that would be another pro of lorry driving i guess.
Society - Thanks for the comments about my photos - I appreciate it!
Invisible - I saw posts about stuff turning a bit grim - I guess I'm not around enough to see it!!
I do like the idea of The Answerbank but I find that so many of the questions can be answered with a 10 second Google search - it's probably quicker to Google most things that write out a whole question on here sometimes!!
Benny - sounds like you're a trucker at heart!! Guess you just need a lumberjack jacket and a huge belly and you're sorted :D
