because i'm indecisive, i have one with al lthe possible fillings i like that we have, last year i had three for my tea and had chocolate, syrup/honey - i can't remember which and lemon and sugar.

then i had to work out the order of sweetness, so they wouldn't taste bitter.

When I was in New York a few years back I asked for lemon & sugar on my pancakes and the waitress was confused, of all the toppings they didn't have this one.... She then popped out to the local market and bought half a dozen lemons and then proudly presented me with them & a sugar shaker, Wow! they were the best pancakes I had ever had.

I am always OIC pancakes in the hat household.
I shall be having mine with butter, sugar and lemon...................Mrs JtH will be having cheese and broccoli on hers !

Cheese and brocolli?? That's just wrong!

I usually just have sugar and lemon juice on mine, but Mini Boo has told me (she's bloody bossy for a 5 year old!) that she wants strawberries and bananas on hers with chocolate sauce on it.
