Dinner suit on Thomson Cruise?

Thomsons are supposed to be informal cruises apart from captains night - is that right? does my husband need to take his Dinner Jacket and dickie bow tie? Any info on dress code would be good!

every passenger gets the chance to sit at the captains table during a cruise as there are usually about 3 captains and they have big tables. It's part of the commercial / tourist hard sell and not as special as some people come home bragging about,

Been on 30+ cruises and although invited, I have always refused to sit on the Captain's table................on his lap, yes..........but not on the table.

I have been on the Thompson Cruises. Captains night the majority of men do wear the dinner jackets but a suit, shirt and tie would also do. You get to meet the Captain shake his hand have a photo taken with him and thats about it. Oh and free cocktails.
Take your best party frock also.....Enjoy your cruise
