I downloaded a programme call "Smilebox" onto my computer. I now discover it adds all my computers documents, and updates it when I click on the icon on my desktop.

Is this safe, or will smilebox have all my documents, photos and music to-date on their files, even if I delete this programme from my computer?.

Will I also loose all my files if I remove smilebox?

Smilebox just catalogues all your photos and music in order to make their greeting card and scrapbook products. It just "views" your files and doesn't actually affect them (if you go to Microsoft Word and choose Open, you can browse files but Word doesn't do anything to them)

You won't lose any files when uninstalling it. As with any software, always uninstall it via the Control Panel not by deleting it.
