was reading haysi Q re: migraines. Got me wondering if anyone (besides a Dr obviously) can shed any light on weird headaches I've been getting lately, (past few months)

One or twice a month, (lasting for three days or so each time) I get a headache that affects only one quarter of my head, (part of my upper cranium and top quarter of my face). They are NOT enough to make me nauseous or to stop me working, (though I do take codeine and paracetamol combined when it strikes). My mum seems to think it's sinusitis - well i've had that plenty times before and it's NOT the same. Or that it's eye strain - well I've had me eyes checked recently and they are okay too.

Her and my brother suffer from migraines - but they are flat on their back in a darkened room with a "throw up" bucket by their side.

What is wrong with a Dr's opinion?
I've been getting the same and think it's sinusitis but it's only been for a couple of weeks off and on. Will be interested what sqad has to say...
Could be cluster headaches.

My doctor said my migraines/cluster headcahes were related to my hormones/menstrual cycle/ovulation.
eve....classical migraine. If simple analgesics work, then continue.
