Positioning text in Word document
I am trying!!!! to design a poster for a village event and would like to fit the wording round a picture, but the picture seems to be set in a box and won't let me type inside the box. Is there anyone out there who can help with this problem please??

When you have typed your words in the box go down to the bottom bar and click on 'Fill' and then click on 'No fill' in the drop down. You can move the box around until you have your wording where you want it. These things are even easier on Publisher if you have it.
In Word, you right click on the picture, select the text wrapping box, then the option you want/like the look of. The "Tight" option would seem to answer your question. Once selected you can then drag the picture around to get the layout design of your chosing. I'd suggest you'd try this with the "whole page view" - to make sure nothing rolls onto the following page. Hope that makes some sense.
