when i click on my playlist and click on a song to start it from, it stops when the first one ends, without going onto the next song, is there a way of doing it so that it keeps playing through the playlist?

If you're using windows media player just drag the playlist file you want to listen to from the right window pane over to the left pane and it will play automatically.
