True Porkies.!!

I love pork crackling but such is not able to be achieved in a slow cooker.
However, if there is rind on a piece of pork, I slice it off after cooking and then crisp it in the microwave.
If you prefer to cut it into small pieces before microwaving, it makes good pork scratchings.
Micowave for two/three minutes and if you do'nt think it's crispy enough, put in for a further minute or two. I suggest you put it into a soup dish that is covered with cling film which has been pierced in the centre; because it will be somewhat explosive whilst in the microwave.
Go on, say it;....I'm a pig of a person.!! ......Ron

My own view is that we should try to avoid as much fatty foods as possible and, irrespective of my liking for pork crackling, you are possible on a better diet than I am.... so do'nt be influenced by pigs like me!!!......Ron
chelle7272....I hope I have helped to enable you to show to your family that you are a really a good cook. It's my view that you are being a bit modest about your abilities. Can you boil an egg to meet your family requirements? If so, you are a really good cook because, in my view, it's 'no joke to get the white right with soft yolk.'( Apologies for my sense of humour.).....Lol...Ron

Good evening vibrasphere....I apologise for having failed to earlier acknowledge the 'pat on the back' which you gave to Viv and me.
We hit on the idea of 'Microwave pork crackling' in the knowledge that croutons can be made in the appliance. Consequently we thought that if pieces of garlic buttered bread can be dried and thereby crisped in the machine; why not pork rind.
Best wishes......Ron.. (Viv's lesser half.)
