Pre-Pratical Driving Test Crisis
4 Answers
Ok, I have one very big problem! My pratical driving test is booked for tomorrow afternoon, and tonight I went to get everything ready for tomorrow and get all my liscence etc together, and i've lost the paper part to the liscence, I have the photographic part, and i was wondering if anyone could assist in telling me how I could get round this situation and still take my test tomorrow, I was thinking of ringing up the DSA in the morning and letting them know, any suggestions would be helpful please!

One thing though. Tell them you've lost both parts then they can send you a replacement directly. If you've only lost one you need to fill in forms and stuff - bizarre I know.
Ring them and talk to them about your options.
Unfortunatly I got here too late, unfortunatlly since July the 1st this year the old d441 (the form used if a test candidate does not have part of thier licence) was phased out. You will not be allowed to take your test. If you have an old style licence around take that instead with some photo ID such as passport. All of this should have been explained by your instructor who should have checked both parts of your licence when you started learning to drive. Sometimes your instructor can arrange a short notice cancelation as soon as your licence comes back.
