Probably calling his mates dumb isn't a great start but I've never been out with a guy who acted particularly stupid with his mates when I was around... That said, there's a lot to be said for leaving your fella to go out for a night on their own with the lads if the company isn't to your taste. Go out with the girls instead or stay home and watch telly. I doubt you'd be missing much.

I second China Doll - having separate nights out occasionally is a good idea. Althuogh I know couples who do literally EVERYTHING together, which might sound nice, but is often not a good idea.
