My heart bursts with pride at what these young people give for us, I do not get involved in political debates, but as the daughter of a regular soldier (like many here no doubt) I salute them all.

I discovered the lost art of letter writing while my lad's mate was out there, found I really enjoyed it, was also great to get the return letters saying how much of a morale booster any news from home was.
Obviously I'm glad he's back, but do miss the correspondence, is there any scheme, sort of like a pen pal thing for service personal?
Although thinking about it I'm sure most serving personnel would rather get letters from someone their own age rather than someone old enough to be their mum!

jewellery has been put on the back burner at the moment peri, cos we've been decorating, hope to get back to it soon though, trouble is I'm easily distracted by other things I like to try, paper making, knitting, felt making, painting etc etc! I really should try to be less fickle with my interests!
