I have a 16 yr. old daughter that wants to move out of state with her boyfriend and his family. I think it would be good for her because they are strict and follow through with their punishments. Now my ex-husband who has 2 and a half months left in prison and haven't been in her life for over half her life told me that if I let her move he would sue me and have me charged with felony contempt and violation of a court order. We have joint custody with me having primary placement, and he is over 30,000.00 dollars in debt. So my question is can he legally do any to me if I let her move? And can he cause any legal problems so she won't be able to move?
