Can I or should I (dont want to look stupid) complain about a very sharp 1" long bone that my child pulled out of her mouth whilst eating soup.
It was Chick soup...so could have chicken bone in it !!....but should it have had.?
Cheers.

worth complaining for free goodies compensation.
Unless it said on the packaging May contain bone you can complain to the company.I would write to them, but retain the bone.If they don`t come up with answer to your complaint then take it further.
I would, the manufacturers need to look at their production line. This could have been worse, so I wouldn't hesitate.

Yes i would defiantly complain ,send an email with a picture of the bone.
Oh give over, rofl!

Its chicken soup, you got a bone in it- proves it's from a animal or bird at least doesn't it?

I really hate this compensation (read money grabbing) nation we've become.

Think yourself lucky you or your child didn't choke on it and move on, life's too short.

Mrs McM found a foreign body in her soup. I made sure he was dead and then gave him to the dog.
Def think they should be made aware of it as the outcome could have been much worse ie choking. I'm not talking compensation I'm talking quality control !
I stopped 'supping' Heinz chicken soup years ago, as there was something in it that resembled part of a claw! I didn' bother taking it back, just gagged & threw it away!

I stick to tomato, vegetable & asparagus these days!
P.S. peri is right though, I & you should have informed the shop, so they could then inform the manufacturers.
