To figure out if there are any Americans on AB, have a look at Yahoo! Answers and just compare the use of English. The standard of many posters' English on Y!A is very poor (something that I haven't seen much of on AB), and, even though everyone has a nom-de-plume (as here), there is a definite American feel about many of the questions and answers. Also, and in addition thereto, on Y!A there is much, much use of rude words, which is something else that is very rare indeed on AB.
