Troubadors
Thanks for that, but could you give me some context please? Why were they on their way there and what was their purpose? And who stopped them?

Yes, and I laid tracks for troubadors
Who get killed before they reached Bombay
Troubadors were 12th/13th century lyric-poets or poet muscians from the south of france. Not my sphere of knowledge but has france ever fought wars in india. I do recall great battles in the middle east in the 12th century and earlier and maybe the poets had moved into the far east on their travels in search of newer material for their songs/poems
