I saw this mornings posts and understood where Bobbi was coming from but..................

Although Cheryl Cole is a very attractive young lady who has made good, why is she being treated like some angelic icon. She has no special talents and has got where she is mainly because of her looks. No problem, good luck to her.

but again.....................

Why is her divorce newsworthy and why is it getting extensive national news coverage? Surely the vast majority of people can't be interested in her or her hubby - there must be more important issues to cover at such great length on the BBC news. I just don't understand any more.

Personally, I don't think Nicola is ugly. Certainly looks better than Cheryl in that particular photo.

I like people with individuality JJ. Cheryl is stereotypical. A lot of these celebrities are. Same shape, same face, same hair, same makeup. I get them all mixed up!!

cheryl could do a 'nicola' on her image if she so wanted to, as could anyone, ditch the tan, get edgier clothes haircut/colour, how is that any less stereotypical as its still a contrived look as every look is and not meaning to sound mean but nicola had a different image not so long ago and peaches geldof used to have a different image styling,make up, hair colour/accessories,can be used to enhance and everyone knows and can see that plus what about the effort that goes into the minimal makeup look
