What is going on with these new oxo cubes?

They are a stupid new shape,they don't crumble up any more and don't dissolve as well,at least the vegetable ones are like that. I'd like to complain but they don't have a web-site!

Cost saving - by making them an X shape they use less Oxo per cube!t

mmm they say that they are the same weight. They now list MSG on the ingredients...was that there before...I think they taste differently too

I actually like them - you break off corner by corner & crumble.
I assume they contain the same amount because it goes by weight?????
I sometimes found that the old cubes were soft and manageable & sometimes really hard, so I had trouble crumbling them.

Plus the fact theres no taste in them whatsoever now

I agree they are different - I cumbled one into a Spag Bol yesterday but part of it was a small lump, I thought it would disolve with cooking but it didn't, I had to get it out with a spoon. Very strange.

Thank-you heathfield,my search engine (bing) is crap but that's another moan.I shall google in future! Glad you all agree and youre right masma,if you dont crumble it properly it doesn't dissolve.Just like life poodicat. Well,it is a food section,what do you expect?

i did a search before reading any answers .

it wasnt that easy to find as there are a few different oxo web sites .

only one relates to the company behind oxo though.

Just to vent my rage I did contact them on the website. The e-mail failed,maybe they are swamped with complaints and they've saboutaged their web-site or maybe they've never listed it right and they think everyone is happy.Their oxo cubes,like their e-mail address ,don't work!
