Medals for Dogs
The question below regarding wearing of medals reminded me of the news item yesterday. They gave a medal to a dog.
Admittedly, this sniffer dog had detected roadside bombs and had done some really great work, but giving a medal to a dog is just stupid isn't it?

Ah! The satirical comedians on this site, do they think they are really funny? This animal although only a dog, is still is worth anyone of them. I wonder how many lives they have saved?
What is wrong with him getting a medal, doesn't a horse get a rosette for jumping over a few fences or those dogs at Crufts for looking nice?
