Plant Identification

We have a couple of small shrubs in the pots at the front of the house. Both are about a foot in height with a single woody stem. Throughout the summer they were covered in small (about 1 1/2cm) azure blue flowers with about 5 petals and a yellow centre.

Does anyone have any idea what this plant is, please? And is it hardy?

I don't think it Marguerite.

Society, I could post a pic, but there is naff all to it at the moment - its just a twiggy thing! Stupidly, I should have taken a picture in the summer. But if the OH hadn't chucked out the labels when he bought them and potted them on (before my time!) we wouldn't have this problem!!!!!

One of the Daphne's then?

Albags - not sure, the flowers are similar to that of a daphne, but they are flatter and less trumpet like. The leaves on our plant are quite small (and have in fact completely died back), they are not fleshly like I would expect on a daphne.
