does anyone have ideas for projects at a small tv station?

i work in labrador at a tv station reaching MAYBE 1000 people. the station is very low tech - there are two channels - one is just a camera that faces the mountains and one is just a rollup of Microsoft powerpoint slides. i need some ideas for projects i can start, something to make it more interesting. i plan on interviewing some local bands but havent started yet. if anyone has an idea about that or anything to help me out please email me!

You're not near Goose Bay are you? My Dad worked there in the 1950's. I have a few photographs of him there, and some of the northern lights.

And a silly idea - get different people walking past the camera facing the mountains - maybe in different fancy dress - a penguin walking past the camera, now that could be interesting!
