Could somebody please tell me what the football letters say, on page 119?
The words are illegible on the paperback version, (I guess you can see them ok on the bigger hardback version). Thanks

pg 119 is a page of text only, starting with "Fantasy Football". is that the same page?

thank you. No, it's a different page. It's just after him talking about life-changing things. . . . .British Bull dog and football and about six pages before the photos.

okay.. pg 98 has a pic of 2 letters and and envelope. the first letter is from (mighty!)WBA dated 4th Feb 1969 "dear Christopher, your letter to Mr Ashman has been handed to me for which I thank you. we do not at the moment require another mascot. I hope that you will not be too disappointed and that you will continue to watch us play. yours faithfully Alan Everiss"

the other (8th Aug 69) says, "dear Mrs Collins, thank you for your letter. your son certainly seems to be a true Albion fan. I only wish he would recruit a further 30,000 friends, enclosed is an autograph sheet which he may like. best wishes, yours sincerely, L W Thorley, Sales Manager"
