Saw the programme. A real eye-opener for those who didn't already know. McDs have just had to make a massive payout in the USA for failing to stop using hydrogenated fats as they promised. When you consume trans fat, it takes 51 days for your body to metabolize half of it. It's is basically a plastic. We but nothing containing hydrogenated fat, or, worse still, partially hydrogenated.
Absolutely!! I actually noticed a huge difference in changing my diet the other way round though. I went raw about 3 months ago (well 90% raw) and I cant tell you the difference. Ive already lost about 20lbs and reached my ideal weight, my skin is looking better than ever, I sleep better, I no longer have any mucus and my mind is sharper. Once during this period I went the chippie and felt absolutely crap afterwards. It has been interesting to say the least!
