Grandfather clock

I am after a Grandfather clock, preferably pine and not necessarily antique, but not from Argoose either!  It should preferably be about 6Ft.tall.  I have checked out the suppliers on line and they are sooooo expensive.

Sorry dothawkes, you don't appear to have had much luck here. I can't help your question except to say that I love going round the clocks section in Allders (Croydon - the only one left). I know what you mean about the prices - but aren't they just beautiful. Maybe someone there could put you on to somewhere cheaper ? Best wishes in your hunt.

thanks for that, I work in Debenhams and I have all the phone numbers for Allders branches still in my desk, I didn't know there was still one left, I shall get onto them at work 2moz, cheers.
