European arrest warrant
There are rumblings about the suspected terrorist who has been arrested in Italy. Britain wants him extradited but the Italians have charged him themselves. Assuming guilt, what does it matter whether he is kept out of harm's way behind Italian bars or British bars ?

After all, he fled to Italy and CHOSE to be there. Forcing him to come back to the UK would intimidate him. Not fair if he's innocent, but the police obviously don't think he is.
Also, they might have evidence that they're using whilst questioning someone else, that they'd need when questioning him. So better to bring Mohammed to the Mountain perhaps"
