My daughter has an LG Cookie phone and when on one of the 2 idle screens the memo icon is permanently there, but only on one screen not both. Have looked all through the manual and can't find how to get rid of it, she has no memos so not like its a reminder of anything. Any ideas gratefully received as its driving her mad!!!

make sure the screen has the widget icon and not the speed dial icon on the right hand side (a white person on an orange background) if it is quickly drag your finger or the stylus across the screen and the widget icon a white arrow on a black background will appear. click on that and a box will open, now drag the memo widget into the box and click on the white arrow to close the box.

by the way, the box will have other stuff in it like a music icon so be careful not to drag one of those onto the screen if you dont want it there.

Thanks but cant get to widget as memo icon is over top and can't move it-any ideas??!!

oh. umm. if you tap it will it go smaller, then you might be able tyo do it but you've tried that by the sounds of it.

tried turning it on and off?
