Clarins makeover

hi, I have seen on the Debenhams website that they do Clarins makeovers for �30. Has Anyone had one of these and if so was it worthwhile. my sister is getting married and doesn't know where to start with her make up.

remember- any makeover only lasts until you wash your face. so no, i don't think it's worth �30. you could buy the makeup and do it yourself over and over again for that much.

sorry, didn't read the 'getting married' bit. i'd like to know if it was any good first though! and they probably don't do home visits.

You can usually get you �30 back against purchases from the range they reccomend, so if you are a fan of Clarins Make Up then they make over is essentially a free lesson as to how to use their products.

I urge her not to have one of these the day of her wedding though as the person dong a make over will not reccomend the best make up for her skin/colouring, buut the closest match in her range sge wants you to buy. My mum came out looking hideous.

Can I reccomend getting a make up artist for her wedding day. It is so relaxing in the morning and much better than having to buy new products and apply them with a shaky hand. If you get them to do bridesmaid and even mother of the bride then you can split the cost.

Really is worth it and better than a friend doing it, as you can tell a proffesional if you dont like what they are doing!!

You can find loads of freelance make up artists in the back of most weding magazines, or ask a local hairdresser who does bridal hair if they can reccomend one.
