Who is the big dog at Natwest now? and how can I contact them? Is it Stephen Hester? Or Brian Hartzer? Are they part of the RBS group - I thought they were?

Long story short I was made redundant, I have a loan with the bank and now I need surgery - cant work until about June time this year and they wont freeze my payments or help me in any way. Insurance is irrelevant as you cannot get it on there loans now. So I am writing to complain and in anger basically, yeah he may not read it and it may not help but it will make me feel better. Redundancy and illness are not optional and 'responsible' lenders they should help. Especially when you cannot buy Payment protection on your loans.

Good luck, but I am sure these chief execs get hundreds of such letters every day. It'll never be seen by the chief exec, but many firms will have specialist teams dealing with executive complaints so you may be lucky
