can anyone tell me the exact address of the branch of the new york public library used in the film, the day after tomorrow?  i wanna go there, but there are so many branches i'd spend my whole holiday looking for it.

I've done a bit of googling on this and it appears it was a set built in Montreal. That's not to say there isn't a real library though.

Don't worry, I've seen the actual location in New York City, although I'm quite sure jno is right about the film set in Montreal.

Mid-Manhattan Library
455 Fifth Avenue at 40th Street
New York

 you couldn't miss the new york library it near Bryant park it an impressive building grand central station where you can get the subway to is just a short walk to the library
Also go to the Donnell Street library, where you can see the real Pooh Bear and friends.
