Sorry if this is intrusive, but I was wondering how Inapickle was doing these days, sorry if you are the wrong person to ask, but I felt you had some connection.
Ignore this if you wish.

No apologies necessary.
I (and indeed Elsie too) are friends and near neighbours of In A Pickle.
He is at home now,and has been for some time, after a pretty fruitless and drugged up stay in a mental health unit.
We look after him when, and as we can,as his partner still has to work (of course) so we don't like him to be on his own for too long.Luckily we can walk to their house in a few minutes up our country lane.
Pickle would like to come back to AB,but things seem to be fighting against him.It seems his In A Pickle username has been removed(by AB Ed?) so once he has decided on a new one,and re~registered he may be up and running.
We are trying to get him to ease back into AB slowly, but of course we can't stop him doing the opposite if he wants,as we are not his parents.
Hopefully he will just answer those questions that he feels comfortable with, and not get involved in any of the argumentative ones.
We are trying to work out a new username for him, which will indicated that it IS Pickle, but without allowing him to be overwhelmed by "Glad you are back" posts, which no doubt will be genuine, but can be a bit daunting for him.
Any suggestions for a new username?
A big thanks for your concern.

My (and Pickle's) gratefuk thanks for all your suggestions~
at the moment I~A~P,and Piccalili are the front runners, but (personally) I favour I~A~P (for the reasons Robinia gave.
However,it IS up to Pickle so I shall run them by him and see what he likes.
So,if you see either of these usernames in the near future Pickle will have entered the building! LOL
Thanks once again
Alec.
PS:~
The suggestions box is still OPEN though,if you have any more brainwaves!

I really hope that Mr Pickle comes back soon - he is an interesting man with a cruel illness. Keeping 'real' friends whilst being bipolar is not at all easy - as I know from first hand experience. He has his partner and, of course, Mr V and Mrs V - but he also has all of us.
Thinking about the last sentence - is having us as friends a good thing? :-)
