Frasier - last ever episode

In this last episode Frasier says that he is moving to San Francisco but when he is on the plane I think the pilot says welcome to Chicago.

Doesn't make sense - does it?!

He is supposed to be leaving for San Francisco for a new job, but the woman he had been seeing had recently returned to Chicago so at the last minute, he changes his mind and follows heart rather than head and all that - that's the kind of final denouement/happy ending bit when you find out he has flown to Chicago rather than San Francisco.

ah - I don't think she was mentioned in the last episode so it didn't click with me.
Which girlfriend was it? The one who started the dating agency and had a real eco boyfriend?

i looove Frasier... when i put it on my mum just stares at the telly and asks me what crap i'm watching. She just doesn't get it!!

I wanted him to end up with the Prom Queen woman from the series before, Lana I think her name was. She was the complete opposite of him.
