Start using Head & Shoulders (menthol) but not just until it disappears, use it forever. Niozoral or T/Gel are good short term bets. If it's really stubborn go to the docs and he'll prescribe Betnovate scalp application. Bloody good stuff.

My husband had a short spell of dandruff & I bought him a bottle of Sainsbury's Headway Anti-Dandruff shampoo. It worked wonders & he hasn't had it since.

The only this is, we're left with a near full bottle of the stuff & no use for it! Good luck Matt.

Shave your head. I've never seen a bald person with dandruff

Aside from using a good dandruff shampoo (like Head and Shoulders), I've heard that rinsing your hair with white vinegar after a shampoo helps to remove flakes.
