Many would be MPs go from top public schools to University and then straight into politics without any experience of working in the real world or knowledge of how most people live. Are such people fit and able to govern this country successfully ?

Amateur politicians?
I'd like to see people stand for parliament based on their own moral convictions, I don't think there'll be many M.Ps from such a background as mine in the future.
We're heading towards governance by a middle class oligarchy, a British ruling caste, our democracy will suffer for it.
