ruby wedding anniversary

Hi,

Its my parents ruby wedding anniversary this year. I am wondering what to get them. They are 62 and 59 and I am 20 years old. Any suggestions welcomed.

You could get them a rose bush for the garden (if they have one) I'm sure they sell a rose called 'Ruby Wedding' . or maybe treat them to a meal at a fancy restaurant . If you are in London or near to London, you could do Afternoon Tea at the Ritz, you need to book in advance though but can book online.
it is quite pricey .

Approx how much were you thinking of spending rushy? This will give ABer's a better idea for gifts, etc.

What about getting them a session with a photographer so they can have a really nice photgrpah of themselves to mark the occasion. Or you could have one done of you and any brother/ sisters or other family and present it to them ? You could then get a great frame and mount and it would be something they would be able to keep to remember the day.

hey thanks for your replies unfortunately I don't live any where near London. (I live 11 miles from John O groats in the scottish highlands) so the Ritz is out the window!

rather than spending alot of money a lovely idea might be to buy a nice photo album and fill it with pictures of them and family through the ages, beginning with copies of their wedding photo's.
