white bits from back of throat

What are the really bad smelling bad white things you get from the back of your throaght. The smell really really bad. I have a sore throat at the moment and basically got a torch and from a hole (dont know what the hole is but there are 4 in total 2 on each sides) in the back of my throat got loads of the stuff out with a cotton bud. Its gros. How can I stop[ this it makes me sick?

I don't know what they are called but they are harmless. It's some sort of build up of food...yuk.

The only true cure is to have your tonsils out.

There could be a build up of pus there too. If there is a greenish yellowish tint to it, then it's pus.

It might be Oral Thrush (a build up of yeast and sugar). If you go to your doctor and it is oral thrush then s/he will give you some fungicide sweets to suck and it should go away. S/he will also check you over for diabetes.
