Have just got back from the game and I can assure you that goldenballs got a standing ovation when he came on Milan were a shadow of what they used to be van de sar could of had a cup of tea if he wanted to thats how big a threat they were but then I have been a man utd fan for 54 years

It was ironic booing ... a joke i'm sure Beckham fully understood. With the ovations when he came on and at the end, the applause for the stunning volley and the chants of "fergie, sign him up" it was clear to everyone but the Man U haters and the stupid what the fans feelings are for Beckham.
