I thought i knew quite a bit about insurance but I'm afraid I don't understand your question. Is it an coursework question or a real-life issue for you. Could you put teh question in your own words for us- exactly what do you want to know.

I don't understand either. Some companies will send you a quotation for insurance (based on underwriting decisions) and will send you a pen or a £5 M&S voucher as a "reward" for enquiring, but that doesn't have anything to do with the underwriting process, it's an incentive to hook you in.

I'm on work experience. The company I'm working for is creating a new form of underwriting, and to promote the new way, they're giving out promotional gifts. I was just wondering if anyone can think of promotional objects accociating with underwriting questions. FYI underwriting decides how much your type of insurance/assurance is going to cost.

I think you are looking for ideas for promotional gifts to send out to promote the underwriting service.

If it's some sort of health insrance why not send out some health related item such a s a pedometer. If it's household insurance send out a free smoke alarm. If it's car insurance send out a car related gift- maybe an air freshener or a tyre pressure measurer. Sorry I'm not very creative
