had recon gearbox fitted when start from cold bangs into gear after about 10 mins drives ok had ecu reset many times problem keeps returning any advice thanks

I would say that is a transmission fault, and no the transmission ECU. You should take back and ask them to fix it.

ECU's are set up from new with the original box Suggsclarke. Enlighten your problem.
