Surfing - Where are you sure to get waves?
8 Answers
Good Afternoon.
Can anyone recommend me a destination for learning to surf please? Somewhere not too far away from the UK would be good. I suppose the most important thing is the guarantee of waves (although I know this may not be possible at all times)!
Any ideas would be great,
All the best,
PT

I agree with Thugulike. If you want to learn how to surf, Hossegor and Biaritz are a great place to start. Newquay could also be good, but on the other side of the beach. Please do not listen to Society and do not go to Hawaiii or other similar surf spots, they can be quite dangerous and with loads of current, if you don't have experience, you can easily drown!!
Look for small beach beark (sand mainly) with a reasonable size of 2-3 foot. best way to start since you gonna fall quirte a lot like I did 15 years ago!! lol ;-D Aloha and enjoy

There are world-reknowned surf schools in the West of Ireland. You can combine a great break with a great set of lessons. Guaranteed waves and all within reach of Ryanair...
